A swell review for “Uncle George and Me”

A tip of the hat to Puuncle george and me book coverblishers Weekly, which just posted this nice review of Uncle George and Me. “This short but powerful book represents the attempts of one ordinary American to bridge historic and contemporary racial divides, and it deserves a wide readership,” they say. “It is a labor of love in the truest sense.”

It’s a welcome pat on the back as I head to New Jersey for the annual family reunion of Uncle George and his kin, where I’ll be passing out books and delivering the first check from sales of the book for the family’s college scholarship fund. Here’s hoping there will be many more checks to come.
